The Loft

What is Loft La Vesée?

Loft La Vesée is a 110 m² holiday rental set in a converted former printing works, in the heart of Béthune. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large open kitchen, a 25 m² terrace. A place with a strong architectural character, carefully equipped and decorated, designed so the stay is truly restful.

Where is the Loft located?

In the heart of Béthune, set back from the street, quiet. The Grand Place is less than a kilometre away. The station is a two-minute walk. The exact address is provided once the booking is confirmed.

How many guests can the Loft accommodate?

Six guests maximum. Three bedrooms: a master suite with a double bed, dressing room and en-suite bathroom, one bedroom with a double bed, and one bedroom with two single beds.

Is Loft La Vesée part of something larger?

Loft La Vesée is part of the La Vesée Résidences Collection, alongside Maison La Vesée — a boutique residence of three five-star apartments with a pool, in the countryside near Lille. The two places share the same standard, in different settings.

Booking

What is the minimum length of stay?

Two nights as a rule. In the summer period, the minimum may be raised to seven nights. For any specific request, contact us directly.

How do I book?

Directly on loftlavesee.fr. Booking online guarantees the best rates. For specific requests, write to us at loft@lavesee.com.

Are the best rates guaranteed when booking direct?

Yes. The Loft is also listed on third-party platforms that apply commissions built into the displayed rates. Booking direct guarantees the best conditions.

What payment methods do you accept?

Bank card and bank transfer. A security deposit is required before entering the Loft — it is not cashed and is returned at your departure.

What is the cancellation policy?

It varies according to the rate chosen at booking. The applicable conditions are stated on your confirmation. In case of an unexpected event, contact us as early as possible.

Arrival and departure

How does the arrival work?

Arrival is self-managed, via a secure key box. The access instructions are sent to you before your arrival. The exact address is provided once the booking is confirmed.

From what time can I take possession of the Loft?

From 4 pm. For an early arrival, contact us in advance — we will do our best depending on availability.

By what time must the Loft be vacated?

Before 10 am. For a late departure, contact us — we consider each request depending on occupancy.

Will the beds be made on arrival?

Yes. Bed linen is provided and the beds are made up. Towels are laid out for each guest.

Equipment and services

Is the Loft fully equipped?

Yes. The kitchen is fully equipped — induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, microwave, a full set of utensils. The Loft also has a washing machine, a tumble dryer, air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, a TV and a Bluetooth hi-fi system.

Is Wi-Fi included?

Yes.

Is end-of-stay cleaning included?

Yes, it is included in the rate. We ask you to leave the Loft in a reasonable state at your departure: dishes washed, fridge emptied, bins taken out.

Is there parking?

The Loft does not have private parking. Parking is on the street, close to the address.

Is there a charging point for electric vehicles?

Not on site for now. Public charging points are available nearby — we share the addresses on your arrival.

House rules

Are pets allowed?

No. Pets are not allowed at Loft La Vesée.

Are parties allowed?

No. The Loft is a residential place of stay — the neighbourhood's quiet is a condition of the stay. Any noise nuisance may lead to immediate termination of the contract.

Can an event be held at the Loft?

No. The Loft is reserved for the occupants declared at booking, for accommodation use.

Is it possible to receive visitors?

Passing visits are possible within reasonable limits, after informing the owner. Visitors may not stay overnight if they are not listed on the booking.

Getting around

Is a car necessary?

Not necessarily. Béthune centre is walkable from the Loft. The station is two minutes away — from there, Lens, Arras, Lille, Saint-Omer and Dunkirk are all reached by direct train. For the Opal Coast and Belgium beyond the rail lines, a vehicle is more practical.

Which destinations are reachable by direct train from Béthune?

Lens and the Louvre-Lens (14 min), Arras (30 min), Lille (30 min), Saint-Omer (42 min), Dunkirk (1h), Paris Gare du Nord (1h18 by direct TGV).

How long does it take to reach Lille?

30 minutes by direct train, no change. 40 minutes by car depending on traffic.

Can you visit the Louvre-Lens from the Loft?

Yes. Lens is 14 minutes by direct train from Béthune station. The Louvre-Lens is then reachable on foot or by taxi from Lens station.

Can you reach Paris from the Loft without a car?

Yes. Béthune is connected to Paris Gare du Nord by direct TGV. The journey takes between 1h18 and 1h35 depending on the schedule. The station is a two-minute walk from the Loft.

What is the difference between Loft La Vesée and Maison La Vesée?

Maison La Vesée is a boutique residence in the countryside, near Lille — three apartments with a heated pool and a private spa, in a former farmhouse. Loft La Vesée is an urban address in Béthune — a single 110 m² apartment, in the heart of town, for a different kind of interlude. The two places belong to the same collection and share the same standard.

Can you book the Loft and Maison La Vesée for the same stay?

The two places are independent and are booked separately. For groups wishing to combine the two addresses, contact us directly — we can advise according to availability.
